Chapter 1

 

        Back in Wasaga High Sean was doing better grade-wise but recently he couldn’t stop thinking about the girl who stole his heart way back in seventh grade. He dreams about her almost every night and when he is with other girls he can’t seem to concentrate on them. He just wanted to hear her voice again and see how she was doing and the last time he saw her he said sorry for everything and she said it was ancient history so maybe she wouldn’t mind if he wrote her an email.

  

  Dear Emma,

        How are you doing? It feels like I haven’t talked to you in forever. I haven’t talked to anyone since I broke up with Ellie 6 months ago. I hope you don’t mind me emailing you because I have been wondering how you have been doing all this time. There is something I’m about to say to you but I don’t know why i am even saying it. I can’t stop thinking about you, I dream about you almost every night and I don’t know why. I miss you Emma.

     After he was done sending the email, Sean couldn’t believe what he just did. He didn’t want to seem like a pathetic loser because he didn’t know how she was going to react. He just hoped he would get an email back because if he didn’t...he didn’t know what he was going to do.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 2

 

      Emma had just gotten home from school and she and Manny were planning on having a girl’s weekend because both of Emma's parents went away for the weekend with Jack. "Hey Manny, aren’t you so excited about this weekend, it feels like after everything we need a break." said Emma.  "Omg you have no idea Em how happy I am we get to have fun together like old times, no guys to hurt us just best friends." said Manny. The girls went down to Emma's room and decided to look up directions to a restaurant they wanted to check out that night.  Emma logged in and a "NEW EMAIL" sign popped up. Manny told her to read it.

 

   When Emma saw the email address that it was from she didn’t recognize who it was, so she was curious to find out what was inside this email. She opened the email and began to read....Emma gasped! "Manny omg!" "What is it Emma, who is it from??" asked Manny. "Manny you’re not going to believe this it’s from SEAN!" replied Emma. Both girls shocked faces could not believe what they just read. Sean not only missed Emma but he dreamed about her. “Emma omg, are you going to write him back??" asked Manny with such curiosity.  “Yes I am" and with that Emma began writing the following email:

 

   Dear Sean,

        It was so great hearing from you!  How have you been this whole time? I have been doing a lot better since the beginning of the school year. Wow I’m really surprised to be hearing from you after everything, I know we are on good terms but wow your email was so nice to read. I am so shocked that you dream about me every night because I dream about you too.  And I haven’t been able to get you out of mind for a while now; i hated it when you left...I miss you too.

   Emma and Manny sat there for a minute trying to grasp what this meant. After almost a year Sean was still thinking about Emma and he missed her...Manny knew Emma felt the same way if not more. Emma seemed to have changed a little, like she got some part of the old Emma back ...maybe it was just Manny but Emma seemed happier then usual but was it all because of one email she got from Sean? Manny’s thought what is going to happen with these two again, this whole thing is so strange...i just can’t wait to see what the rest of this weekend will bring

 

 

 

 

Chapter 3

 

   Sean stayed in the house the rest of that Friday afternoon hoping to get some kind of response from Emma, he didn’t want to be away when she finally sent him an email back, if she sent him one back. Finally it came and Sean opened it as fast as he could and he read the email. A smile formed on Sean’s face from ear to ear. He needed to call her, to hear her voice...he just knew she felt the same way, didn’t she?

 

   Sean calmly picked up the telephone and dialled Emma's number.

 

*ring ring*

Emma: hello

Sean: Hi Emma, its Sean

Emma: Omg hey, how are you? I got your email and I wrote you back.

Sean: Yeah I just got it and I wanted to talk to you like on the phone.

Emma: Yeah, I feel the same way, I have been dying to call you for like ever but I didn’t have the nerve to, that’s why i was so happy when I got your email today.

Sean: *smiling* really Emma, you have been dying to talk to me? I just felt like you didn’t want anything to do with me anymore.

Emma: Sean, For a while after you left I didn’t want anything to do with you because I felt like you just forgot about me, but seems like you couldn’t.

Sean: You’re right, I couldn’t, I don’t think I ever could.

Emma: I feel the exact same way Sean. so what made you email me? I would think you would be busy with friends...a girlfriend, *Emma bit her lip...*

Sean: Yeah I have a lot of friends but none like the ones I had at Degrassi. And yeah I have dated but I just couldn’t really concentrate when I was with them...my mind was in other places.

Emma: Listen Sean me and Manny are going out for dinner now ...I really want to see you...I will talk to you soon

Sean: Yeah, I will talk to you soon, but who knows you may be seeing me a lot sooner then you think...*hung up*

Emma: Wait Sean? What do you mean by that...

 

    Emma hung up the receiver and looked over at Manny, "That was so strange ...he said i might be seeing him a lot sooner then I think and then he hung up...what do you think he means?" asked Emma. "I don’t know but whatever he did mean looks like Sean is coming back for you Em...just depends on you." "What do you mean, me?" asked Emma. "It means your going to have to decide what’s going to happen between you and Sean." "Yeah, i realize but what if he doesn’t want the same thing ...I just don’t know if I can allow myself to be with him ...I don’t want another broken heart..." "Well that’s something you’re going to have to figure out on your own ...now let’s eat." replied Manny.

 

   With that all said the girls went out to dinner and didn’t speak of Sean the rest of the weekend ...they just had fun together...just like old times.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 4

 

    Monday morning came and for some reason Emma got up early to take a shower and get ready really nice, she just had a feeling that something good was going to happen today. After her shower Emma blew dry her hair and then she straightened it. She put on a really cute tight pair of capris and wore a form fitting tank top with a V-neck that just showed enough. She put on some blue eye liner with matching pale blue eye shadow. To top it all off she put on a glossy coat of lip gloss.  satisfied with how she looked Emma went upstairs and got into her mom’s car and drove to school.  When they arrived in the front of the building Emma couldn’t believe her eyes...standing on the steps outside stood Sean....what was she going to do?

 

   "Mom, omg look over there ...it’s Sean!" "Emma, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy? Don’t be afraid, just get out of the car and face him." With that Emma’s mom kicked her out of the car and Emma stood there facing Sean. Sea thought, wow...is that Emma? my Emma? What if she isn’t happy to see me? I told her she would be seeing me very soon...little does she know I’m back at Degrassi for good...and I’m in her classes...I need her...I just hope she won’t push me away...there’s something i need to tell her. Emma thought, omg...i cant believe he is here ...I’m so happy to see him...he looks soo good. I wonder why he is here? omg I’m about to find out ...he’s walking over to me right now...stay calm Emma. stay calm.

 

    "Hey Emma, I bet you weren’t expecting to see me today," said Sean. " No I wasn’t but I was wondering what you meant the other day on the phone about me seeing you sooner then I think...I guess now I know what you meant. So what are you doing here ...don’t you have school?" asked Emma. "Yeah I have school in about 10 minutes," replied Sean. "Then why are you here in Degrassi? You have school in Wasaga ...right?" "Well that’s what I wanted to talk to you about ...actually I have school here back in Degrassi...I need to be here ...here with you," said Sean with his head pointing to the ground. "Omg Sean...I don’t know what to say. I'm so happy!" screamed Emma as she jumped on him and gave him a bug hug. When she was done hugging him Manny came and was so shocked at what she saw...it was Sean ...and Emma. "Omg...whets going on here? Sean what are you doing here?" asked Manny. " I’m here for good...I needed to be here with Emma...I cant stop thinking about her and dreaming about her so I figured there had to be some kind of reason for it...the reason was is I’m meant to be with Emma and I always have been ...I came back here to get her....i want to be with her again and I never want to let her go. All she needs to do is say she will be with me again and she loves me the same way I love her," said Sean. Both Manny's and Emma’s jaws dropped and they just stared at Sean and made sure that he really just said that.

 

   Sean slowly turned his head to Emma waiting for her to say something ...anything. The problem was Emma didn’t know what to say..."Sean, you have no idea how much I have wanted to hear that stuff since we broke up. I just don’t know if I can risk getting a broken heart again, I need to know you won’t hurt me again....I need to know you love me for real this time and I can be with you," said Emma. The look in Sean’s eyes were filled with such hurt..."Emma, I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you back in 7th grade...I wanna be with you more then anything in this world. Being away from you for a year was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I promise you I wont hurt you ever again...I know your my soul mate...you and I are like one heartbeat. But if you don’t know if you can be with me again...I’m just going to go. I’ll see you around," with that Sean left with tears cascading down his cheeks. "Sean you don’t understand! Wait Sean wait!" Emma cried but it was no use Sean was already in school. "Emma, that was the sweetest thing I have ever heard...you need to take him back...you guys are meant to be Emma. I know you will regret it if you don’t take him back ...as your best friend I’m telling you, you need to go after him." "I know Manny, I was going to tell him that but he left! I need to talk to him, I’ll see you in homeroom!"

 

    Emma ran inside to find Sean but before she could the bell rang and it was time for homeroom.  Emma met Manny inside Mr. Simpson's homeroom and she was so relieved when she saw Sean in there with them. Sean didn’t want to look at her because he didn’t want her to see the tears forming in his eyes...because to him Emma didn’t want to be with him and him coming to Degrassi was the biggest mistake of his life. Emma tried to get his attention but he just wouldn’t look at her. The day proceeded just like this...Sean was in most of her classes and it was as if he didn’t know her because right now he didn’t want to know her. Emma hoped that by lunch time she would be able to tell him how she truly feels before something went terribly wrong.

 

 

 

 

Chapter 5

 

     It was finally lunch time and Emma had to find Sean and fast. But once she got to the lunchroom she discovered a horrible sight, Sean and Eliie were eating lunch together and holding hands...Emma couldn’t take it anymore she ran through the Caf and out the door hysterically crying. Once Sean saw this he went after her but Ellie grabbed his arm, "Sean let her go, you belong to me now. You know you love me. Sean just stay here with me," pleaded Ellie. "Ellie, I’m sorry but I can’t let her go. She’s the reason for my coming back here and she’s the reason for me living. I love her Ellie, now let me go!” and with that Sean broke away and ran after Emma into the Degrassi parking lot.

 

  Emma was getting into her car when Sean jumped into the front seat. "Emma you need to listen to me, what you just saw in there isn’t what its like. I told Ellie I came here for you and you’re my only reason for living, I NEED you Emma and I LOVE you more then anything in this entire world ...I just felt like you were rejecting me before and I couldn’t handle it." Emma looked up at him and said, "Sean I was trying to talk to you and tell you that I want to be with you more then I have ever wanted anything in my life! You are my life, my world, my everything and if nothing lasts forever will you be my nothing? I love you Sean hope Cameron and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Sean looked at her and smiled and he leaned in and kissed her like he hadn’t seen her in forever; it was the sweetest kiss they had ever shared and for the first time in a while both of them felt safe and knew their lives were complete.

 

 "Sean I’m so glad you came back here, my life just wouldn’t be the same without you." "I feel the same way Em, I feel the same way," with that they drove off into the distance to wherever life would take them...well to wherever they could go before school the next day. :)
