Emma couldn't believe that her secret was out and just hoped that her enemy didn't say anything thing about it. The
reason she thought of Alex as her enemy was because the way she had always come at her. They never got along with each other
and probably never would. Jay had finished talking to Mr. Armstrong about his grades and came out with a slip of paper. He
couldn't believe that he had to have a tutor for math but it was either have a tutor or lose his car. Jay went over to his
locker when Alex came walking over to him. "Hey," Alex said with a smile.
"Hey," Jay said tossing things in his locker and pulling some stuff out.
"What's up?" Alex asked in a low voice and he slammed his locker door shut.
"I've got to have a tutor in math," Jay replied. "I am supposed to meet this person after school," he said placing
his bag over his shoulder. Emma came walking around the corner and slammed into him dropping their books.
"I'm sorry," Emma said picking up her books and he picked his up off the floor.
"Watch out next time!" Jay yelled causing her to walk away and he shook his head. "I don't know why they let losers
like that in here," he said in a harsh tone and Alex just smirked slightly. They headed to their class together when Alex
saw Chris up ahead with his friends.
Alex hit the walkman in his hand causing it to fall to the ground and he got into her face. "What is your problem?"
Chris asked with a glare in his eyes and Jay stood in front of them.
"I think you need to back off," Jay said pushing him slightly and that's when the blonde came over to him.
"What's going on baby?" Emma asked wrapping her arm around his and he kissed her fully on the lips. Alex just looked
in disgust at them and he pulled away from her looking back at them.
"Nothing," Chris replied. "Let me walk you to class," he said grabbing onto her hand and picking up his things then
walking away with her. Jay watched his friends follow him and then turned to face his ex.
"What was that about Lexi?" Jay asked with his arms crossed. "Why all of the sudden are you bagging on Sharpie?" He
asked firmly and she just sighed deeply. Alex just walked away from him causing him to follow her and Emma stopped in front
of her class with her boyfriend.
"What are you doing after school?" Chris asked rubbing his thumb along her hand.
"I got to tutor someone for a couple of hours then I am free," Emma said running her hand along his face and he smiled
at her.
"I'm sorry for hitting you," Chris said looking down. "I feel like such a loser," he said causing her to lift his chin
with her finger.
"Its okay I forgive I mean we all make mistakes you know," Emma said kissing him on the lips. "I'll see you at lunch,"
she said walking into her class and he headed for his class with a smile.
Jay finished his last class knowing that he still had to stay in school for another two hours to get this tutoring.
Sean had taken his car to give their friends a ride and then said he would pick him up later. Jay walked over to the library
seeing that it was empty and took a seat at a table. Emma came walking into the library with her math books in her hand. "You've
got to be kidding me?" Emma asked when she saw him.
"You’re my tutor?" Jay asked looking at her. "Lets just get this over with," he said with an attitude and she
dropped the books almost crushing his hands. "Man you can be mean," he said glaring at her and she just smirked at him.
"It says here you need help with fractions so lets get started there," Emma said sitting down next to him. They worked
on this for an hour and he still wasn't getting it. "Jay all you have to do is flip the fraction and then times it," she said
firmly.
"I don't see how this is going to help me anyway," Jay replied. "I mean it’s not like any college are looking
to enroll a kid like me," he said leaning back in her seat and she looked over at him in shock.
"That's where you’re wrong Jay," Emma began. "They'll enroll any kid as long as they meet their requirements
and you can do that but you have to want to do it," she said in a soft voice and she just looked away from her. "Why don't
we call it a day," she said standing up.
"When do we meet again?" Jay asked standing up from the chair.
"Same time next week unless you feel like you need more help then we'll work out something," Emma said looking down
at her watch and then headed out the door. Jay watched her walk away from him and then pulled out his cell phone to call Sean.
Emma and Chris were being all cuddly and cute the next morning just laughing with each other. Alex crossed her arms
shaking her head at them and Amy came walking over to her. "You jealous or something?" Amy asked in a low voice and she turned
to glare at her friend.
"Look there is something I need to tell you but you can't tell anybody," Alex said firmly only to receive a nod from
her friend. "Chris he hits her not just the light push kind I mean really hits her," she said with a fearful look in her eyes.
"Are you serious?" Amy asked looking over at them. "We've got to do something," he said starting to walk over to the
others only to be pulled back by her best friend.
"No," Alex said firmly. "I promised her I wouldn't say anything besides you and I both know it'll just make things
worse," she said looking over at the couple. Amy and her walked back over to their friends but kept a good eye on Emma from
a distance.
"I can't believe you have to help Jay," Chris said slightly laughing and she playfully pushed him.
"I don't like it either but it'll help me graduate early," Emma said standing up from the table and getting something
out of her bag. Chris laughed at her little and stood up right behind her.
"You’re not graduating early," Chris said in a firm voice and she turned to face him.
"Look I decided this long before you came into my life and I want to," Emma said placing her bag around her neck. Chris
grabbed onto her arm making sure no one was looking at them. "You’re hurting me," she said closing her eyes slightly.
"You’re not graduating early and that is final," Chris said softly. "Now that you’re not you can stop the
tutoring," he said letting go of her kissing her on the cheek and walking into the school. Emma rubbed her arm lightly and
took a deep breath.
Jay stood at his locker getting out his books and was actually into this whole tutoring thing for once. Emma walked
over to him knowing she had to stop the tutoring or it was going to make her boyfriend mad. "Hey," Jay said with a slight
smile.
"Hey," Emma said looking down at the floor and he pulled out some papers.
"I've been working on the factor things and I think I have got it down," Jay said causing her to look at them. "Well?"
He asked looking over her shoulder and she slightly smiled at him.
"These are good," Emma said with shock. "I'm impressed," she said handing him back at the paper. "But I’m going
to have to stop your tutoring but I will recommend you to Liberty
she's good at this," she said looking up at him.
"Just when I thought I found someone that wouldn't bail on me," Jay said slamming his locker door shut and walking
away from her. Alex saw him come into shop class with an angry look on his face. "I can't believe her!" He yelled throwing
down his bag.
"Who?" Alex asked standing in front of him.
"Greenpeace!" Jay yelled. "She bailed on my tutoring and I am going to have to get someone like Liberty," he said sitting down in
his seat.
"Hey," Towrz said smacking him in the arm. "My girl is smart," he said with a firm tone.
"Dude she may be book smart but when it comes to people Emma's more suitable," Sean said sitting down at the seat.
"Why did she bail on you anyway it’s not like her?" He asked looking at his best friend.
"I don't know but this means I am going to lose my car," Jay said standing up from the table and going to work on his
engine. Alex came up to Emma during lunch and sat down next to her.
"Why did you bail on him?" Alex asked looking over at her and she sighed deeply.
"I had to I mean if I didn't he was going to get angry again," Emma said in a low voice. "Besides he's got Liberty," she said shrugging while
eating her food. "There is nothing I can do Alex's," she said taking a drink of her soda.
"I didn't want to have to do this," Alex said firmly. "But if you don't tutor him I will tell someone about Chris;
maybe your father," she said causing the blonde to look at her.
"You wouldn't?" Emma asked looking at her in shock. "Fine tell him to meet me next week same time but to not say a
word to anyone," she said in a firm tone and Alex nodded her head slowly before going back to her friends.
"She says she will tutor you again," Alex said with a smirk on her face.
"That's great!" Jay said with a smile. "How did you get her to do it?" He asked looking over at her and she looked
back at the blonde.
"I have my ways," Alex replied. "But you can't mention a word to anyone that Greenpeace is tutoring you," she said
firmly.
"Fine it’s not like I want anyone to know it'll ruin my rep," Jay said with a cocky
tone. Amy looked over at her friend and they looked back at the blonde who was now with her boyfriend.
