Emma was in the guest room packing her bags again when Alex came walking into the room. She closed the door behind her slowly and sat down on the edge of the bed. "What are you doing?" Alex asked in a low voice.

"Packing," Emma said closing her suitcase and zipping up the sides. "I can't stay here," she said getting her smaller bag. "I mean he will come after me and I can't let you guys get hurt," she said with a shaky voice knowing that he was going to come after her with everything he had.

"Stop," Alex replied pushing her hand away from the bag. "Everything is going to be fine Emma and as far as we are concerned we can take care of ourselves. Now you either put that shit back or I’ll go get Jay cause he isn't going to let you leave," she said in a firm voice.

"Why do you guys care?" Emma asked. "I mean if I died you'd be all the happier," she said looking at her with tears streaming down her face.

"Look I know we did some harsh things to each other but no one deserves what he put you through," Alex said placing a hand on her Emma’s crossed arms and wiping her tears away with the other hand.

"I'm just so scared," Emma said slightly laughing. "Never thought there would come the day Emma Nelson was be scared; I always knew how to find, how to protect myself but when I’m around him I freeze and I can't do anything but stand there,' she said looking down.

"It’s going to be alright," Alex said pulling her into a hug and Jay walked into the room.

"Oooo can I watch this girl on girl action," Jay said with a smirk on his face trying to lighten the mood.

"Is he always like this?" Emma asked looking over at him and Alex just nodded. "Look I gotta go to the stake park I should be back around seven maybe," Emma said reaching for her jacket.

"Then me and the crew will go with you," Jay replied causing her to sigh deeply.

"Look if you’re worried about him showing up there, don't," Emma began. "Craig is going to be there so he'll look out for me besides I don't think it’s your scene," she said walking out of the room and heading for the door but he stopped her.

"First of all I can make any place my scene," Jay replied. "And second I want to see what Greenpeace dose in her spare time," he said grabbing his jacket. "Come on guys," he said motioning everyone out of the apartment.

"Just go with it there is no point in arguing with him," Sean said gripping the blonde shoulder and she rolled her eyes slightly. They walked into the skate park that afternoon and she lead them over to her friends.

"Hey," Toby said looking over at the others. "You alright?" He asked with some concern.

"She's fine," Jay said wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"I gotta hand it to you Em you seem to get in a lot of trouble," JT said with a smirk on his face and she smirked back at him.

"This coming from a guy who got stuck in the air conditioning vent which I had to bail him out of," Emma said with her arms crossed and he just looked at the floor. "Where's my board?" She asked looking over at Toby who handed it to her along with the helmet.

"Let’s go," Toby said putting on his helmet and they all headed over to the ramp. Jay, Alex, Sean, Ellie, Amy and Towrzr all sat and watched her as she landed tricks on her board then slid down on her knees. "I gotta head home. Later," Toby said waving goodbye to her.

"How could you possibly do that?" Amy asked looking at the ramp then back at her.

"It’s easy I’ll show you," Emma said motioning her over and she held her hands up.

"No thank you the ground is my friend," Amy said slightly laughing. Jay came walking over after talking with his friends on the phone. "What took you so long?" She asked looking over at him.

"There is a party tonight over at James," Jay replied in a low voice. "You guys up for it?" He asked looking over at him and they all nodded then looked over at Emma. "What about you Greenpeace?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"I don't think that is such a good idea, I mean Chris does most of the music at these parties," Emma said taking off her helmet. Alex went over to her along with Amy turning her around to face them.

"Come on it'll be fun," Alex replied. "We could go shopping for some new outfits besides he won't touch you as long as we are there," she said with an evil look in her eye and the blonde sighed deeply.

"Alright," Emma replied simply.

"Cool drop us off at the mall Jay," Amy said walking past him along with the other girls.

"What am I, a taxi?" Jay asked following behind the girls along with the other guys. Later that night they were getting ready for the party over at his friends house. Emma knew there was probably going to be drinking, drugs and a lot of hooking up there but she didn't care.

"Come on Greenpeace!" Amy yelled from the living room with her arms wrapped around Towrz. Emma walked out of the bedroom talking on her cell phone with one of her friends. Jay turned around to look at her and felt his heart drop all the way to his stomach.

Emma was in a white ruffled mini skirt with a pink tank lined with sequin and a sheer ribbed bottom half. She put on her silver looking dress sandals and her denim jean jacket. "Look Manny I gotta go......I’ll try......okay........love you too........bye," she said hanging up.

"Come on let’s go," Alex said grabbing a hold if her hand and the girls ran out of the door.

"Dude wipe up your drool," Sean said patting his best friend on the shoulder.

"Shut up," Jay said pushing him slightly and they followed the girls out. They got to the party within twenty minutes and as she suspected Chris was DJingj. Alex gripped her hand lightly and then led her into the party. Emma was sitting at the counter when a guy walked over to her.

"Would you like to dance?" The guy asked extending his hand and she nodded her head. They walked to the middle of the dance floor and then dancde close together. "The names Mike," he said with a smile as he twirled her.

"My name is Emma," she replied wrapped her arms around his neck. "You’re a great dancer," she said moving with him and he leaned into her.

"I'm even greater in bed,' Mike said with a smirk and she just rolled her eyes at him. Towrz walked over to him and tapped the guy on his shoulder telling him to get lost. "See ya Emma," he said kissing her hand and then walked away.

"You having fun?" Towrz asked wrapping his arms around her as a slow song came on.

"Surprisingly yeah I guess your kind isn't so bad," Emma said with a smirk and he acted like he was hurt. "What happeedn with Liberty?" She asked looking into his eyes and he sighed looking down for a minute.

"It just didn't work out she never wanted to be with me and always talked about JT," Towrz said looking back up at her.

"She's had a crush on him since the day they met," Emma replied. "But Amy seems to like you maybe you should go for it," she said with a smile on her face and he looked over at Amy. "Go on I need to go to the bathroom anyway," she said walking away.

Emma walked out of the bathroom only to see Chris leaning against the wall next to the door. She swallowed hard for a minute and then started to walk away from him. "Wait," he said grabbing on her arm lightly.

"Don't touch me," Emma said pulling away from him and he raised his hands in the air.

"I'm sorry," Chris replied. "For everything but especially for hurting you I never meant to baby I love you," he said running his hand along her face and she pushed his hand away.

"No you didn't," Emma replied. "Cause if you did you would have never done any of that to me," she said walking away from him and he followed after her. Jay saw them come running down the stairs and stepped in between them. 

"Back off man," Jay said standing in between them and then started to walk out with Emma.

"You’re seriously going to go with him!" Chris yelled causing everyone to look at him. "You’re going to be a whore to a gutter rat," he said slightly laughing and she turned to look at him.

"I’d rather be his whore then your girlfriend," Emma said walking out of the door with the him following after her. Jay turned her around to face him once they got out the door and pulled her into a hug. "Just take me home," she said with tears in her eyes and he nodded his head.

"Okay," Jay said kissing the top of her head and they headed back to his car.
