Emma woke up in her bed the next morning and then got up to go to the bathroom. She still wasn't used to the fact that she wasn't in her house and opened the door with out knocking. Jay stood in the shower completely naked and he quickly grabbed the towel. She closed the door quickly then ran into the bedroom laughing her head off. She was getting some of her things together still thinking about his body covered in droplets of water. She shook the thought out of her head and continued to get out some clothes. Jay came charging into her bedroom in his sweats with his arms crossed. "Have you ever heard of knocking?" Jay asked glaring at her and she slightly laughed.

"I'm sorry I kinda forgot that I didn't have my own shower anymore," Emma replied closing the dresser then turning to face him. "But I didn't mind seeing you in your birthday suit," she said walking out of the bedroom leaving him blushing.

Jay sat on the couch watching TV thinking about the blonde that was going to be living with him for the next month. She came walking out of the room in a pair of short pink sweat shorts with a white tank top. "Where are you going?" Jay asked seeing her go towards the front door.

"To the skate park," Emma replied putting on her pink flip flops and a sweat jacket to match her shorts. "I'll be back in an hour," she said when he ran over to her stepping in front of the door. "Move out of the way," she said pushing him lightly.

"You’re not going to the skate park you’re going with me and my crew to the beach today," Jay replied in a firm voice. "Now be a good little cause girl and get your sexiest bikini," he said waving his hand at her.

"What makes your think I want to go?" Emma asked with her arms crossed and he kissed her lips gently. They stood there kissing each other for a few minutes and he pulled away from her. "I guess that is good enough give me a minute," she said heading back to her room.

They got to the beach within a couple of hours and then set up their things in a secluded spot. Emma was laying down on the towel in her bikini soaking up the sun along with the other girls. "Check that out," Amy said sitting up slightly and she raised her head up.

"Hotties nine o'clock," Emma said with a smirk on her face and they guys looked over at the girls. Jay glared over at them slightly and sat down next to her. "Can I help you?" She asked causing him to grab her hand and help her stand up.

"Yep," Jay said throwing her over his shoulders and then running out into the water.

"STOP!!!" Emma yelled slamming her fist into his back and then he threw her into the water. She pulled him down with her and they both came up gasping for air. "I hate you," she said splashing water at him and he pulled her close to his body.

"Really?" Jay asked pulling her into a passionate kiss while every one of their friends watched him on the shore. The two of them made out with each other for a minute then went back to the beach.

Emma lay down on her towel again while Jay went over to the guys to talk about whatever guys talk about. "You and Jay?" Alex asked looking at her. "You seem pretty close," she said in a low voice.

"I don't know," Emma said shrugging her shoulder. "You don't mind do you?" She asked looking over at her.

"No I think you'll be good for him," Alex said with a smile on her face. "But hurt him and I’ll kill you," she said in a firm tone causing her to laugh with the other girls. Jay was talking with Sean about the kiss that just happened in the water.

"Its nothing we were just having fun," Jay replied in a low voice and he sighed deeply.

"This is Emma," Sean replied. "Nothing with her is just for fun she'll be wanting a commitment soon," he said going to the cooler to get some of the beer they had brought with him. They arrived at the apartment later that day after dropping off a few of their friends.

"We need to talk Em," Jay replied setting down his keys.

"Yeah we do," Emma said turning around to face him and they were silent for awhile.

"Listen about the-,” they said in unison only laughing at each other.

"Your fist," Jay replied.

"No you go ahead," Emma said motioning with her hand and he took a deep breath.

"That kiss I liked it but I don't want a serious relationship," Jay replied causing her to sigh in a deep relief.

"Thank goodness," Emma replied. "I don't want a serious relationship either right now I mean I just got out of a bad one but I do have fun with you a lot of fun you bring a side of me that I never thought I had so maybe we can date but date other people as well," she replied.

"That'd be cool cause you’re really cool too Em I’m just not ready for a commitment yet," Jay said with a slight smile and she nodded her head. He cupped her face in his hand and the brought her into a slow gentle kiss.

They sat down on the couch watching movies, eating some pizza and making out every now and then. They finally got back to school catching up on their work that they had missed. Emma still continued to tutor Jay in math and he came walking over to her at her locker. He placed his hand over her eyes and leaned into her ear. "Guess who?" Jay asked with a smile.

"Let me guess Jay," Emma said holding on his hand and he moved them away from her.

"Nope," Jay replied causing him to turn. "It’s the guy who just got a B+ on his math exam," he said holding up the paper and she snatched it from his hands. She jumped up into his arms and he spun her around a little give her a small kiss on the lips.

"PDA!!" Alex yelled walking over to them and he set her down.

"I gotta go but I’ll see you guys later," Emma replied heading toward the office. Alex and Jay headed to their shop class to get working on their project. Alex had filled Towrz, Sean and Amy on the new couple that had just developed in Degrassi.

"Call me sometime," Jay said winking at the girl only to feel a smack to the back of the head. "What the hell?" He asked looking back at his the people standing behind him. "You need to go to anger management Sean," he said getting in his friend face.

"How could you do this to her?" Sean asked. "I mean after all she has been through," he said pushing him lightly only to be pushed back. Emma had come into the classroom to deliver something to Mr. Ehl when she saw them fighting.

"Stop it!" Emma yelled pushing them apart from each other. "What the hell is going on here?" She asked looking at both of them.

"He was talking to another girl while he is dating you," Sean said glaring at him.

"So?" Emma replied. "Look me and Jay talked about it last night we're going to date but still date other people neither one of us is ready for a serious relationship yet," she replied causing them to look at her in shock.

"Look it’s our decision and before you say anything I didn't force her into it," Jay replied. "We both decided this mutually," he said in a low voice and wrapped his arm around her.

"Okay," Towrz said walking away from them.

"Whatever," Amy said following behind him.

"This is crazy," Sean replied looking at both of them.

"I agree," Alex said with her arms crossed.

"Look it’s our choice deal with it," Emma said heading back to Mr. Ehl. Jay followed after her waiting for her to come out of his office and pulled her into a hug. "You okay?" She asked looking at his bruised cheek and he nodded his head.

"You doing anything tonight," Jay replied. "I was thinking we could go to a party together," he replied causing her to smile. Emma gave him a kiss and then walked out of the classroom to the office.
