*school bell rings*

Ellie: Wow the first class of our last year. *to no one in particular*

*walks into the classroom and see the empty desk where Sean should be sitting.*

Ellie ~After the shooting Sean left, he isn't coming back, the rest of us handled the situation and dealt, but no not him he ran home to his drunk family.~

Emma: Hey Ellie, I know we aren’t good friends but I want that to change.

Ellie: Why? What happened to you? You hate me.

Emma: Over the past few months I learned life was too short and could end any time.

*Ellie laughs, nods, and enters classroom.*

*Mr. Simpson keeps talking*

Sean: *to Mr. Simpson* Sorry I'm late, traffic was awful.

*Ellie looks at Sean as he sits at his normal seat beside her like nothing is wrong. Ellie runs into girls bathroom, Sean sits still with his head hung.*

Ellie*in bathroom*~He is back, and so are you ~ *looks at knife in hand*

*Ellie walks back in and Sean looks at her, he does a double take, and sees what looks like red on her hoodie.*

Sean~ Well she is still Ellie, just a different look, I hope she isn't cutting again, No one here will ever know my secret, never.~

Emma ~no he can't be back I won't let him, what if he finds out about Jay, or what if him and Ellie get back together and he leaves again, that would kill her, I mean she isn't my best friend but I know how it feels for the one you love to leave...Sean left me also.~

*Ellie looks at IM message and sees it is from Sean*

SlimShady: Hey El

foreveryours: It's Ellie to you Sean.

SlimShady: so now you hate me?

foreveryours: Hate isn't strong enough sean.

SlimShady:look I left 3 months ago, I was confused, hurt, I just needed to see my family.

Foreveryours: So now there is an expiration date on being pissed off? Look you left me, with a dead ferret, no money, and a broken heart.

Slimshady:Look El I am sorry, if you do hate me then don't bother but if you decide to forgive me, meet me at the meeting place.

Slimshady has now signed off.

*ellie looks at the screen and then at him sitting next to her.*

~I can't go, but I love him, what if he sees the cuts, no he can't!~

*looks at the cut that says "GONE" on her arm.*

Greenpeace: Hey ellie. you ok?

Foreveryours: Ya I am fine, you ok emma?

GreenPeace: ya Just shocked, why is he back?

Foreveryours: I don't know but he told me to meet him after school. gtg simpson lookin our way.

*after school at meeting place*

*Out loud to no one not knowing Sean is behind her, Ellie: Maybe he isn't coming, maybe he told Emma to meet him because she didn't act like a total idiot, maybe.... *cut off by Sean*

Sean: Maybe he is here. *Ellie turns around and smiles walks up to Sean and hugs him*

Ellie: Long time.

Sean: Too long. *they sit*

*Ellie stands up and starts to pace*

Ellie: How is everything with your parents?

Sean: Mom is dead, drank to much then decided to get high on cocaine, ODd, she is gone, not much lost though.

Ellie: Um...O

Sean: How have you been?

Ellie: *knows she can't lie to Sean but tries,* *stuttering slightly* I’m O.K.

Sean: Are you? Ellie you can't lie. Or well you won't lie will you?

Ellie:*pissed that Sean decided to come back, starts to yell.* Sean how do you think I am? Buehler my best friend, my pet of years died, of electric shock, my "boyfriend" ran off, the school goody-goody wants to be my friend and I will never wear short sleeves again... *trails off seeing that she accidentally told  him of her cuts.

Sean: Your ferret died? That sucks, EMMA NELSON wants to be YOUR friend? Wow how strange and, you cut again?

*ellie takes off hoodie to show sean cutts leaving only one covered, it says "back"*

*sean looks at her as she starts to cry, then out of nowhere crumbles to the ground*

*runs over to her and holds her as she cries.*

*as she cries he sees the one she had tried to hide, he stutters and then runs off.*
